Just like "In Your Head" or "What are you Listening To?":

What's on the stove at this very moment? (Or the microwave or the Barbeque or the George Foreman Grill, etc?)

Pork Chops simmering with salt and garlic powder, Jasmine rice in the rice cooker, and soon a salad with romaine lettuce. (Exciting, huh?)

Nothing is on the stove at the moment. But a couple of hours ago it was soba noodles with soy/ginger sauce (a la Annie Chun) with baby bok choy and a little spinach. Garnished with seaweed flakes (which didn't really go with the sauce).

Also simmering away as I was preparing dinner was 2 batches of soap, one was mint and the other was lavender/rosemary.

In about 1 minute. a kettle will be fired up for a pot of lemon zinger/decaf green tea.

Just finished my soup, from the second day roast chicken with lemon and garlic. I always add water to the roasting pan and some sherry, so I had a couple of cups of that, bereft of its fat, simmering with the chicken and some sliced mushrooms and, oh, five garlic cloves, and a bunch of that mexican jar of bouillion grunge, and several cups of water... to cook down. Added frozen peas originally purchased for the Pacco at the last minute. Not enough noodles so I chopped up some spaghettini to flit in and add body. It did.

Hmm, I haven't eaten yet, and this thread's making me hungry. Er, I think it'll be a can o' soup, probably with some ramen thrown in, stuff I can eat in front of A2K. :-D

I cook better stuff for dinner (usually).
