provision = preparation?

Context:

Whilst treatment was not a primary focus, the concurrent
problem of balanced management of infection and autoimmunity
was continually annotated during the meeting. Definitive treat-
ment requires provision of ‘intact’ hemopoietic tissue by bone
marrow transplantation from a compatible donor, which ameliorates infectious and autoimmune expressions but confers the hazard of graft-versus-host disease. Gene therapy is a future option.

No, it simply means to provide. Definitive treat-
ment requires us to provide ‘intact’ hemopoietic tissue . . .

@oristarA,

Provide, or supply.

Some professionals/ technocrats use the language like a drunk man uses a lamp-post: more for support than illumination.
