The latest issue of Barrons has an interesting prediction from major money managers. About 72% of those survived predict that Obama will lose in 2012.
They predict that Romney will be the new president in 2012.

@Miller,
I don't think Romney can take the Republican primary contest. Rick Perry is my Republican favorite for 2012.

@Miller,
Romney's gonna put you all under a spell using his magic underwear

These Magic underwear give mormons the power of flight, invisibility, x-ray vision and gardening. Don't ask a mormon about his magic underwear or you will be attacked by an army of scary happy plastic robots

@Miller,
Seems reasonable enough.

Here we are half way through his first term and Obama hasn't illegally invaded any new countries.

A shock and awe or two, a few tens of thousands of innocent foreigners slaughtered could easily have the populace swooning, Obama then a shoo in.

@Miller,
I kind of doubt that most socially liberal independents will get too excited over a prolife candidate like Romney. I can understand the Obama prediction but there has to be a better moderate Republican candidate to pull the wool over the so called middle of the road voters.

72% that survived Obama's presidency... Wink

Anyway, they got that right - Obama is a one term mistake.

@H2O MAN,
but lets not forget, wasn't it money managers who stood around with their mouths hanging open saying "wha' happen" when the economy imploded

so i'd trust them, sure i would

I don 't believe that Romney has much of a future,
as his dad did not.

He is not philosophically attractive.

I 'd like to see someone like Rand Paul, M.D. run for the Presidency.

In a recent poll, nine out of ten surveyed said that, if the presidential election were held today, they would be very surprised.

In a country where 40 percent believe god created the Earth six thousand years ago, faith in magic underwear is one of my lesser problems. I hope Obama wins in 2012. But if he doesn't, I hope it's Romney who beats him.

The purpose for the existence
of the Republican Party is to be the more conservative
(i.e., the least deviant from the US Constitution) of the 2 major parties.

If Romney were conservative,
then he coud not possibly have been elected Governor of Mass.
A motivated Republican is a conservative; what OTHER reason is there ??????

Those who r not conservatives shoud go to the Democrats.

@OmSigDAVID,
Romney is definitely too able and intelligent to be the Republican nominee. The Reps will certainly look to the likes of Palin, Huckabee, and similar.

@Miller,
I don 't think that Romney has much appeal.

The essence of the GOP is conservatism.
He is not a conservative.

I don't think he could beat Obama. Best to find a different individual.
