Thanks Sozobe... thought I'd better show you how "bad" chows can be, too.
That's Penny, picking up Mr.P's nasty cigar habit.
HA!
But just wook at that fuzzy wittle faaace... <dissolves into incomprehensible baby talk>
She's lost most of her mask. Both girls were loved up when they were babies and are still sure that's the way it ought to be... but they are wary of strangers.
I hope you get one someday, Sozobe. We've only had three girl chows, but I've heard the males are awesome.
Everybody loves their dogs... sorry to gush!
Piffka
Now there's a pup with guilt written on her face!
So - what's the problem with gushing - isn't that why we're here?!

Okay then, Pretty-please Margo... bring out some baby Possum photos!
Vivien -- That is adorable and she looks so clever & playful... possibly a little dangerous, too! Good kitty...
Vivien, you may or may not know that cats are at the very bottom of my list of aminals with which i could not be forced to live . . .
. . . that is nonetheless a first class photo, very good job . . .
Why, oh why, Setanta?
I can't believe anyone wouldn't enjoy living with at least one cat. Very intelligent company!
You are very kind, Miss Vivien . . .
And i'm sure you would as alluring and graceful in hoop skirt, with parasol, as you are in your character of panther . . .
Awwwwwwwww Viv, thank you for posting this picture ... I would never believe that little face has bad intentions. However, I do understand.
This morning I was putting some boxes in my car ... now you know Ms. Lacey and Paddy never, EVAH go outside the front door ... they run back into the house as soon as someone opens the door. Well, I opened the door trusting nobody would run, run Ms Lacey sure did, out through the hedges, trying to catch a bird ... I ran so fast, caught her tail, and pulled as hard as I could, until I had her securely in my grip ... in the struggle, she managed to rip my hand {not meaning to, of course} leaving a huge gash! I didn't care as long as I caught her and brought her home.
Well, I felt really bad about pulling her tail, but what was I to do?
Oh Misti, I can very well understand how you felt. I keep having bad dreams about Nisse and Mysan getting out of the house. I am so glad you caught little Lacey!
Margo, you will LOVE your digital camera ... trust me!
Margo - can we have some Possum pictures? Please????
