I'm asking you to brag a little.
Tell me, what are the really big tourist attrations in your area or the fantastic road sirens you've been unable to drive by.
By big, I mean the oversized things that geniuses have erected to sell your hometown or the blink and you miss it travel destinations.
Around here we have a giant perogy on a fork, an enormous bat(baseball), a humongous ukrainian easter egg, the world tallest man made water fall, tiny churches and bookshoppes and the worlds only alien landing strip.

We have the Big Merino, Big Banana, Big Beer Bottle, Big Oyster, and countless other bigs - but my favourite is the BIG PRAWN - near Ballina, in the north of my state - it represents the total taste bypass! Confused

In my little corner of the world we have this: The Rose Parade. Sometimes sickeningly sweet and tacky, sometimes pretty awsome:

There is a whole, um, study, on this stuff in Architecture circles. But ne'er mind, what is around my new town, thinking, thinking. It is really drecky here on the highway through the city, don't get me started.

Okay, I have it. I cringe, for many reasons - back in a minute.

Here, then, and this one is more under the weather than most. In this case, it is about an hour 1/2 south of where I live -

Drive through tree

okay, I give up, four times and I am out of patience. You get the idea.

Others from Australia;

The BIG Pineapple
The BIG Orange
The BIG Avacado
The BIG Kiwifruit
The BIG Shell
The BIG Cow
The BIG Bull

Alas, attempts at breeding between the latter two have thus far been unsuccessful.

They are all in New Brunswick, except for the Moose which is in Nova Scotia and the Elephant which is in Ontario. They were both made in New Brunswick though.
