No capital, why?

Typography, design and aesthetics. The word "nature", the title of the journal, (not "magazine" please!) is made into a logo, more or less, on the web site and on the cover of the journal. In such circumstances, for artistic reasons, it is often decided to use all lower-case letters.

They didn't capitalize "science" in their subtitle either.

I wouldn't try to read in too much
