The President of the USA has said:
"God told me to strike at al-Qaida and I struck them; then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did; and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act." GW Bush
True Believers
Aint there any here?
I believe you, but i would really like to see a link that quotes him on that bit of lunatalk......
See the interview with Ha'aretz in May.
Normally people who hear voices and believe they are being directed by God end up in restraints. We here in the US on the other hand elect them as president. Who the hell is running this asylum?
Well, at least we know that God is on our side.

I still don't get how you know this...
He told ya?
You sure it's Him?
Can't prove it, can ya?

pist actually left out some of the best part, Bear:
Quote:According to Abbas, immediately thereafter Bush said: "God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."

I wonder if this 'God' fellow may have a very strong resemblence to Dick Cheney?

(Although George Walnut Bush would have been more in keeping with his nickname.)
I don't mind a president who feels like they're getting guidance from God but Bush reminds me more of someone who talks to God the way Son of Sam conversed with the dog......
"What's that Lord? Kill 'em all? You'll sort 'em out?
I hear and obey........."
Who is MoreWak?
Osama says that he speaks "for" Allah (God).
Dubya says that God instructs him to kill people.
On the other hand Dubya also said that Jesus is his fave political philosopher. Seems that there may be a some inconsistency there because wasn't Jesus a pacifist? Maybe God and Jesus have different POV on various matters? You think they debate these things? Can a person believe in God's views and the opposite views of Jesus at the same time?
Man, it is perplexing aint it?
btw we seem to have 3 people that are true believers unless those that voted for option #1 are jesting.

Your the one doubting it, can you prove it's not?
"We also know there are known unknowns"
Is that sorta like: "There are no Athiests in foxholes." ?
As I said before elsewhere: If I came on this BB and said that God instructed me to go kill certain people would the readers here believe that indeed God actually spoke to me and that it would be OK to follow those instructions? Would the believers in Jesus say yeah, man go do what God told ya to do?
All right, it was funny at first, but now I am starting to think you actually think Bush said it like God actually SPOKE to him. Are you that retarded? Really? I mean I realize you don't have a high opinion of him, but do you REALLY THINK BUSH THINKS GOD SPOKE TO HIM?
Get over it already.

You can't prove a negative.
(This is also why Iraq couldn't prove they didn't have WMD.)
