Is it ever too early to listen to Christmas music or watch Christmas: An informal survey

Is it too early to listen to Christmas music or watch Christmas related films?

1. Bloody heck yes. It's not even Labor Day/Talk Like a Pirate Day (http://www.talklikeapirate.com/) yet. Stop pushing the corporate agenda of expanding the Christmas shopping season to the 4th of July please!;

2. No. I celebrate Christmas 365 days a year. In fact, I'm watching Miracle on 34th Street right now;

3. Yes and no. I'll soon start listening to/watching The Nightmare Before Christmas because we're getting close to Halloween;

4. I'm of the Jewish/Muslim/atheist/party pooper persuasion so I never celebrate Christmas.

@tsarstepan,
Full disclosure:
I'm presently listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack as I'm not in the mood to go to bed right now but I'd rather listen to some music then listen to my tinnitus in my left ear. Figured it's a good time to listen to the soundtrack for the first time this year.

@tsarstepan,
Not too early at all. In fact, I was feeling kind of Christmassy just today. Incredibly long, slow checkout line at Family Dollar today. I think I heard the checker trying to explain that she couldn't accept New Zealand food stamps except for groceries specially marked by the NZDA.

I know what you mean. I just woke up and can't get back to sleep.

@roger,
I'm bouncing between here and the IMDb Daily Poll board. Not a wink bit tired.

@Reyn,
Hey! Look at the time I posted it. It was almost 2 in the morning. I have the right to post sleep deprived nonsense in the wee hours of the night! Rolling Eyes

And I was in the mood for a little Nightmare Before Christmas! Very Happy

@tsarstepan,
Why not? I sometimes listen to my collection of Harry Belafonte Christmas music riding to work. If I take a notion to watch Alastair Sim's perfect film of A Christmas Carol, I do so.

Yes, you do, and all the best! Wink

I guess I'm not a big fan of how shops deal with the various seasons.

Already Value Village here has been set up for Halloween a few days ago! Shocked Mad

I guess I'll go with number 3 - yes and no. I have been known to throw on a xmas movie just because I like to watch it (like The Grinch, Nightmare Before Christmas, or Hogfather), but I don't want to be confronted with xmas music/paraphernalia in public until AFTER Thanksgiving, thank you very much.

So, what should I listen to while watching It's a Wonderful Life?

@tsarstepan,
Tsar, there never a good time to listen to Christmas music or watch Christmas related films. They were created by sadists to torture us all.
