I am furious because that man hit my new car.
========================
Which of the following sentences are:
Simple-Compound-Complex-Compound-complex
1.It seemed to the students that the school year would never end, but they continued to study in order to pass with honors.
2. It seemed to the students that all they did was study and prepare for their examination.
3. All the students and their teachers worked hard, looking forward to the completion of the school year.
4. The teachers joked and laughed at the end of school, and the students shouted and clapped their hands.
5. Did you think that the students did as well this year as they did last year?
Raelynne, welcome to A2K.
There is nothing as nice as a simple declarative English sentence.
I don't do homework.
I regret the fact that I'm one of what is probably the last generation taught to diagram a sentence. If you could, I could tell you what to look for... and how to figure out which was what.
