Produce is a single term for all fruits, nuts and vegetables.

Really? In the US, fruits, vegetables, and nuts are all I would expect in the produce department.

That's interesting. Here, all that the farmer and grower produces, is produce.

I wouldn't exclude butchermeat, but probably not fish.
