Mitsu Is About To Leave

Thanks ever so much for dropping by & paying respects, all; right now I'm keeping vigil. She's on her pillow in the cats' corner by the patio door with a view of the treetops and an overcast sky.
Because she's had no food intake for two days now, her feet and paws are cold. Every ten minutes or so she lets out two or three soft clear meows, like, in fear.

Well, Nekochan being Nekochan, she doesn't take to Mitsu's leaving without permission lightly, cuffing poor Mitsu - gently, mind you - with a parting hiss. Miss Molly respectfully sniffs her forehead.

Feeble as they are, her purrs are louder than her heartbeat. Watching life dim down ain't easy, folks. The positive in all this is it's a normal ending.

Have u gotten her medical attention ?

The vet didn't offer any encouragement over the phone, and we don't want her to go like Poindexter, in a boarding cage at the vet's.

Maybe a checkup will help.

Something that is simple to relieve might be at work; maybe revive her ?

Maybe the vet can help; NOT to leave her there.

Can you get a vet service that can come to the house, to put her down?

I understand that purring can also be a sign of pain.

Thinking of you & your darling cats this morning, neko. And hoping that Mitsu does leave very soon. As painlessly as is possible.
