Spell "Trumps" with a capital T. The Trumps are a rich American family, headed by Donald Trump, a socialite and business man. He is well known for his ostentatiously vulgar tastes. To "keep up with the Trumps" means, roughly, to copy the lifestyle and manners of a certain type of rich person.
