So I return from a wilderness journey that I discovered no matter how ready and expected you think are to die, when faced with a 200ft drop off the side of a cliff you still get a little bit scared.
Then to return to what you thought was safe only to find another wilderness and 200ft drop off waiting was not fun,
but worth much trial for the wisdom I have been made privy of.
So it seems I am still on this side of things and seeing any of you on the other side will have to wait.
Wait until my next journey perhaps which I will be making in about two weeks for what was supposed to be a 3 week trip has now been reduced to just one.
We will see if that 'trip' does not do what the failed wilderness one could not.
(By the way the 'other side' means death)
Any way I have been finding it hard to think of what I might say and open for discussion until I was given this piece of Scripture last night and it resonated so wanted to share it to see what you thought it might mean for yourselves as much as for me spiritually and philosophically.
Thanks.
Proverbs 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge,
but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.
3 The eyes of the LORD are everywhere,
keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
4 The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life,
but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.
5 A fool spurns his father's discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.
6 The house of the righteous contains great treasure,
but the income of the wicked brings them trouble.
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge;
not so the hearts of fools.
@ehBeth,
I'm in awe of your restraint, ehBeth. Salaam.
@ehBeth,
That was the line that hooked me.
But the rest seemed to hold some weight so I left it in.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

What? Sorry if there's some covert message in the dancing bannana that I don't get. I'm happy you're back! You're the coolest. I don't think I can PM you, so... how did it go? What did you see on your great adventure?
@sometime sun,
Nope still not over it or fully understanding of myself or the situation.
Going to have to stay away for a bit longer.
Sorry for being so short Arjuna.
