please look at this English text...

Installing scrubbers in smokestacks and switching to cleaner-burning fuel are the two methods available to Northern Power for reducing harmful emissions from its plants.

what is cleaner-burning fuel ? I understand these could probably reduce harmful emission while burning.

Does Petrol is a cleaner-burning fuel ? I'm looking for an example.

Natural gas is one example of a fuel that is cleaner burning than coal.

Some kinds of coal burn "cleaner" than others.
