"the Strip", in any city means the streets where the main nightlife gathers. In Vegas, it is the street which has the top flight casinos located along it.

"The Las Vegas Strip is an approximately 4.2-mile (6.8 km) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada."
