Palestinian Solidarity Campaign

To coincide with the Global day of Action on 30th March 2010, the Palestinian Boycott National Committee and the Palestine Solidarity launched a campaign in partnership with the TUC which aims to end the sale of settlement produce in Britain. The fact that the Trades Union Congress has joined in is of immense significance. The British government has recognised that the settlements are illegal and an obstacle to peace. Yet produce from Palestine’s stolen land — fruits, herbs, beauty products, DIY tools — are sold in supermarkets and shops here, helping to sustain the settlements economically and strengthening the occupation. Now ordinary working people are at last moving into action against the colonialists. It is good news.

In the 43rd year of Israel’s occupation of the land not stolen earlier the repression of its people is worse than ever. This must end. The Palestinians have a right, for a start, to live with dignity, free from occupation.

Information about this, which may perhaps help American anti-colonialists, is to be obtained from the
Palestine Solidarity Campaign, tho' I'm not allowed to give the address. It's not hard to google.
