@g-man,
1. It's not a matter of McCain doing a better job. Anybody could do a better job than BHO. He's a manipulative genius but a moron of logics.
Barry's first act as president had to do with creating rights for enemies of America. The most important thing he could think of to do was to tend to the rights of men who had taken up arms to kill American soldiers.
2. Had it been a realistic point of attack for Barry, mainstream media would have carried it. Would not need to resort to youtube.
3. This is a free nation for the moment. The people who risk their resources to develop a product are free to sell it to whomever they wish. As it should be. When this nation is no longer free, it is time for revolution. Perhaps time to kill those who would deprive that freedom.
4. Companies in the U.S. have as much right to sell their products abroad as Opec has to sell their product to the U.S.. Or?
5. Reality? Surprised you can utter the word, being a leftist.
I will of course have more fun with barry than I did with Clintoon.
I always knew that Clintoon's time would pass. Clintoon knows what country he loves. Barry, is an agressive world view leftist and will shut down vocal opposition at some point. I'll enjoy this as long as possible and then take up my arms. Freedom is never free.
6. Exercise in futility. I will never accept the agenda of evil stupidity that is socialism. The agenda to make the people subservient to government.[/QUOTE]It makes me laugh to hear Americans rant on about the ultimate freedom of the USA. Do you even know what freedom is in a political sense?
Freedom is when the rights of every individual trump the rights of any government. Local state or Federal. That you do not have in the USA.
In Canada we have a pretty new constitution, 1982. it's crowing glory is, The charter of rights and freedoms that very clearly spells out the fact that the rights of each person are inviolate and supreme over those of the state. I spend a lot of time in the USA talking to very many people and just observing what is generally going on. One observation that I have made is that it seems that a lot of republican supporters are really ignorant uninformed,gullable people. Lots of them don't even know what the capital of their state is or where Canada is.They lack even a basic understanding of history and a complete ignorance of civics. How can you have a political discussion with a person like that. Their family always voted republican and even though they don't know why they will too. The demographics are stacked against the right. The numbers of this type of person are shrinking and will shrink even faster as the people become better educated.
The idea that socialism equals lack of freedom is just bunk. I'm a socialist, I live in a socialist country and I have freedoms that Americans can only dream about.
