Out of context, he said that after the mayor blamed the governor and the governor blamed they mayor then they both blamed the President. Bush took the high road on the issue.

I'm not quite sure how it became the president's fault that thousands did heed the evacuation order. We aren't a socialist society, you can't just stay in your home and say "everything is alright, the government will take care of us" because they won't. Don't rely on the government and you won't be disappointed, hell I don't even figure Social Security into my retirement planning, but yet I'm "whitey the man" who's trying to hold everybody else down
