He surrounded her with flowers - roses and carnations
And sprinkled red hearts and gold stars and made tender orations.
He returned her hugs on the moonlit lawn
And together they ate chocolate kisses until dawn.

I like this one so I'm continuing, hoping someone will join my lone game! I think the poems should be entitled.

The crochet hook in the bath floats;
Look at the rising bread
My pop has a coat hanger through his head.

I always wanted to play the xylophone
While sitting under oak tree eating ice cream cone
My porch is made of lattice wood
But my imaginarary moon scene is real or should

In some must-smoken bar, mint tulep did I buy:
A man, throwing encyclopedias passed by
And proclaimed, lives on the anthill aren't prizewinners:
Crimes hold; the slipper waits for easy sinners...

Under the bookcase I sought to hide
My trusty corkscrew by my side
Alas, an apricot slid down and rolled across the floor
And I discovered I was being video'd by the ghost of Dudley Moore

Jasmine danced by the blue car;
She said- 'by Telex can my words go far'--
An underwire bra brought her to despair;
'If but my janissary could solely care.'

Aerial
Jelly
Knickers

I have a seventeen-foot-wide four-poster bed
And an aerial sticking out of my head
My favourite food is a jelly made of moondust and golden stars,
I wear four pairs of knickers and I come from Mars.

The mistress shrieked 'Beef stock cubes will be my death,
Soon, I'll make my extra-strong peppermint scented last breath,'
If only I had bought a CD-writer
I could have used it on the noose, my oppressor, to fight her.

Laughing Imagine remote-control styled garments being the next big thing?

This brought to you from the society of Larkinist Firefighters:

Sitting on the grass should be better than this:
The sun, yet pinchbeck can't buy you a kiss
From me, at least; with my tongs I should fly
Superiosly. Nominate a fire escape. Don't die.

He had to for a bow tie pay an extortionate rate
He cried, 'My kingdom for a Dusty Springfield tape,
Lest golf tee and its caddies my mind rape.
