I honestly dont know enough about him to make much of a general statement but i think he made a good point in that clip that the illegal immigrant wasnt the case. that it was the DUI that was the case and that even though he wasn't supposed to be here in america, a DUI is a DUI. Do you disagree?

The law says that any illegal who is caught being in America Illegally is to be deported, that wasn't done, so therefore O'riely (while being a bit unprofessional) has a reasonable beef with the actions of law enforcement in this case.

I understand your point but, tell me what you think of a like senario. Suppose an illegal immigtant has a murder warrant out for him, he gets stopped for DUI. Should they be able to hold and prosecute him for the murder?

I dont know. Thats why I asked you what you thought. Im only 13 and I dont know a lot about immigration laws. All I know is that illegal aliens are a problem to our country because they take money benefits from the government that are supposed to be going to United States citizens.

thats not the point. the point isnt illegal immigrants. The point is people drinking and driving. Yes an illegal immigrant did kill someone through drinking and driving. But it wasn't the fact that he was an illegal immigrant that killed the girl. It was the fact that he was drinking and driving.

I'm glad to know you are only thirteen. I had a pretty good idea it was young. I would of said around 18 to 20. Sounds like your taking an active role in politics. One thing i would say to you, if you plan on taking it serious for any amount of time. Is to take in all news sources and come up with an opinion of your own. It is ok to check out any sources you like but if you get stuck on one ideology, you are exactly that, stuck. You are correct in the assumption that illegal immigrants are a problem. How you address this problem is what makes the man/woman.
On a second note. I apologize for being so aggressive in my questioning of your moral character. As i thought you were much older. I will try and be more observent of your inexperiece and explain in more detail my position.

The incident was about a DUI, but he was an illegal. That's honestly no different then stopping someone for DUI, learning they had an arrest warrant for theft, and not also processing them for that. Illegal immigration is a crime in and of itself, by law.

Your only 13? That's great! It's awesome that you care about your country at an age where most people only care about IPOD's and new shoes. Keep coming here, keep posting. Many young people think they are or will be Democrats until they delve into politics more than just what their parents or teachers tell them . There is really nothing wrong with being a Democrat in this stage of your life , you may even outgrow it , especially if you keep an open mind and see all sides of issues for yourself .
