Your sarcasm is misdirected. Propaghanda works because a lot of the information is true, but presented in a way to push a certain agenda, and present a particular perception of events.

I wonder why the cut it open. I would imagine based on its depth alone that would kinda clue them in that this is a really old clam. But not a lot they can do now.

they cut it open, because you know nothing of the clam untill it is open, as for WHERE they found it, Clams are at the bottom ow whatever body of water they are in.
