I;ll ask you since Scooby couldn't answer. What did scooter obstruct?
Possible no! She was convicted of it. was sentenced to 45 days got that cut in half before she even entered, spent three days and was let go, if that happened to you are me how long do you think we would of spent in jail? 45? Probably.
I would also think that DUI is also life threatening to others on the road. You find that less of an offence then some one recalling things different in an investigation that no one was charged with a crime? What do you think of persection now?

this just speaking to the heart of your ignorance on this and probably many other issues

Paris was convicted of DUI, there is no "possible DUI" it's documented legal fact.

You know why Libby is in jail right now? because he pissed off someone more powerful them him. Being guilty didn't stop OJ from not going to jail, what about Kobe Bryant? R Kelly was charged with 25 counts of child porn 5 years ago and has yet to even go to trial.

The only reason the Enron people went to jail was because the wealthy investors who invested in Enron also suffered from Ken Lay's lies and mis representation.

No this country is largly moving away from a culture of rules and laws to a new age monarchy where celebrities will take the place of fudal lords and will be very much in their own system of "justice"

Prediction: Paris Hilton won't observe her house arrest, she'll be at a club well before then, then be given probation for violating her house arrest.

@Silverchild79,
[Sniffle sniffle]A politician goes to jail for lying in a federal investigation[/sniffle sniffle], more of them should, go to jail for lying that is. She blew the lowest possible limit to be arrested, and I didn't say she shouldn't have been arrested anyway, or that it was right to let her out after three days, it's just funny trying to compare a politician lying during a federal investigation to a DUI.

And my ignorance? Feel free to expose my "ignorance" on many other issues if you think you can.

your right it is kinda ridiculous

because in 2005, 12,945 died from drunk driving

that's a mortality rate of four times the Iraq conflict, and since it took 4 years to even get that many dead in Iraq that's a mortality rate 16X that of the Iraq conflict

so yes, comparing DUI to political misrepresentation is a bit dumb

Sorry, not a very compelling argument, since 60% of fatal cars wrecks did not involve alcohol, doesn't say a lot for sober drivers. I'd bet more wrecks are caused by idiots talking on their cell phones than drunk drivers. Now, don't get me wrong, as I said before, I don't think she should have been released, or given a light sentence, but the two are completely unrelated, so comparing them is retarded. Just because you feel some emotional attachment to Libby, and think he is being persecuted unjustly, apparently, someone does not. Sighting your own argument...

@Silverchild79,
Didn't she have to go back to court to see the judge that released her because she went out clubbing that night?

If she would of hit you while she was legally drunk i think your tune would be different, na you would of let her go.

@Silverchild79,
She didn't hit anybody, and I didn't watch this morning, but pretty sure she was ordered back to court by the judge so he could send her back to jail. One thing I wouldn't do is try to compared Libbys arrest to hers.

your right, drinking only account for 40% of fatalities

but only 1/4 (25%) of cars at night on the weekend have drunk drivers, the rest of the time (daylight and weeknights) the statistic is much lower

considering that the mortality rate is STAGGERING

way to spin partial information
