totally out of line, this just provides more proof of the need for the troop surge. We should have went with the suggested number of 300,000 back in 2003.

In short, we should keep looking for them

@Silverchild79,
Funny enough, the most damaging thing they could do to the American cause is let them go unharmed.

@Silverchild79,
Yeah....I'm sure the savages have tortured them to death and chopped up their bodies by now. After all, they're devout Muslims, following closely the example and teachings of Mohammad. But.....as GW had to say ever since 911, "They're a peace-loving people."

@Silverchild79,
"...no calls for genocide please..."

Don't read too much into things. Nobody's calling for genocide. If that's your interpretation, good for you. That doesn't mean it's right.:headbang:

@Silverchild79,
Yeah, call me out for the sarcastic comment in response to the totally acceptable one about behading U.S. troops, not the guy who made the original comment.

@Silverchild79,
Azmr,
You are correct in assuming that the enemies who have captured the missing soldiers employ that particular philosophy. Which is why the U.S. must seek out and destroy every last one of them. The war against terrorism is a war against Islam, because they are one in the same entity.

That is quite possibly, one of the most ignorant statements ever.

@Silverchild79,
Do you have a persecution complex or something? I was simply saying that while no, I haven't seen anyone beheaded in our charge, I have seen some that wish they had been. Actually, it was our Iraqi counterparts, but still.

I guess that is true for unlawful combatants. Maybe we should take the gloves off and start to treat those on your side as the Geneva Convention allows for unlawful combatants. But we won't, our politicians (and the public they serve) don't have the backbone. They will though if your side is successful in one of its battle plans outside the southwest asia area of operations. They'll get real nasty real fast if something overt happens here in the good ol USofA.

Hey, have you seen the new Marine Corps challenge coin? Very Happy
