@Silverchild79,
The problem is that our elected representatives benefit from high oil prices, and so will not permit domestic production. Anwar is a possible gold mine, and Texas still has oil to exploit, but we choose instead to buy from OPEC, why? Instead of cozying up to Russia to buy oil, we piss them off by implementing a plan for a ballistic missile defense shield in their backyard.

It's corruption at its core, and if our founders knew the type of men we had put in office they would take up arms, rise as one, and slay them.

Amen. The biggest problem with the Anti Bush people is they miss the boat

everybody talks about Bush's failure in Iraq and forign policy yada yada, and that's exactly what he wants you to focus on.

What he doesn't want you to consider is that he's an oil man and oil companies just happen to be making record profits. And Cheney doesn't want you to know that he's the former CEO of Haliburton and they just happen to score 8 out of 10 government contracts in Iraq. Many of those are "No Bid", which does away the government's need to buy from the lowest bidder

Bush and Cheney's buddies are getting rich(er)

Oil will never crash in the free market, demand is already above supply and in the near future it will only continue to run away from it

get yourself off of fossil fuels ASAP, I am

Solar, Wind, anything or everything. Energy cost will only continue to go up then eventually either conservationists or Peak Oil will make life hell of any still on the nipple

here's a good first step

A crash will not occur untill there is a more easily accessible alternative fuel .

@Silverchild79,
Hummm and once my house does close i have a 850 mile drive. So that leaves me only a 210 mile walk on Interstate 70. gee I hope the HWY patrol won't notice me walking as it isn't legal on interstate HWYs. O ram I wrong and I can run the 210 miles. lol

But I am glad I filled my tank when it was only $2.45 and that nine tenths. But Dillon's gave me $.10 off for spending over $100.00 in their store.

are you talking about the Volt? The first 40 miles are electric, after that it's a gas hybrid. Total range is like 630 miles, try getting that out of a normal car

@Silverchild79,
Yes the car and now I have to walk/run another 10 miles more. I was making a joke Silverchild79. And I think all auto manufactures need to get more of all
types of these auto on line and doing it while making them better.
By the way can I run the radio in the first 40 miles without reducing the milage? (a joke)
Some body need to allow some more humor into their thinking I thinks.
