It's so sad, he had been fightening terminal cancer for almost a year. He was the best Tenor everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Sniff sniff, he was my favorite artist. Sniff sniff.
Aaronssongs, what is wrong with his comment? It is a common idiom expressing disbelief and chagrin.
In no way did he show any disrespect to Pavarotti.
Excuse me...but in my world travels, I'm unfamiliar with the expression, "no way damn". Yes, "way", damn...that 's a terrible thing, would have been more explicit. Geez.

What is that supposed to mean?
A great artist, and humanitarian died, and that's all you have to say?
Why did you say anything at all?
No way is my responce in disbelief. Damn is in reference to my liking him and will be sad he is gone.
I have seen him once when he came to Albuquerque and i will remember it the rest of my life. The man sent chills down my spine. There is that better?

@briansol,
I was lucky enough to see one of his last Live TV performances on a Show here called (Wetten Das = Bet That) He was already to ill to sing, it was a play back. You could see he wasn't well, he will be missed around the world. I too get chilles when I listen to Pavarotti, I love his works.
