You guys have probably heard about this already...

if not..

Shot him yes, kill him no. He has to make restitution first, can't do that dead.

you'll go to jail for a long time for shooting someone.

it can't be viewed as self defense... only retaliation.

if it was negligent then they should be arrested and prosecuted accordingly, then sued.

If they were using the fireworks as a weapon to attack the individual then I say "Fight Crime, shoot back"
