hmmm. She does have very high heels. I notice that the guys aren't in tuxes. So, it can't be too formal.

You only need one more guess for a new clue.

Nope.

It's a perfect movie about someone who is imperfect.

Bravo, Mac. That's got to be it. Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman and an imperfect man. You thought it was Ethan Hawke and Thurman from the beginning. Very Happy

mac should have gotten it when he guessed Thurman and Hawke but I realize the dancing in the night (or supper) club which does have a rather vague futuristic look (some night clubs look like that already!)

I must confess that your phrase "new one" which preceded the pic is what threw me. Somehow I thought we were looking for a new(er) movie. My fault...

"New one" was meant the same as a "newbie" which the film is based on Raggedy's criteria. Sorry.

Ooohh, those impromptu meetings. A camel is a horse designed by a committee. That's how our government works! (I guess that's why they fancy their adeptness at attacking countries with camels...)

Oh, dang -- now I have top find one again?

Incident in Shanghai
Madame X (early version)

Clue time and it would be so nice if you'd let us know if it's a foreign film without making that the clue. (lol)

That's okay, Raggedy -- it's not a foreign film.

The female star of the film played a fortune teller at the end of her career.
