Sorry, been busy this morning.
beatoswald is correct. Delicatessen it is.
We thought so! How's the weather in Oz (the Sydney Opera House at night is my desktop wallpaper today). Maybe I should watch Baz Luhrman's "La Boheme" tonight.
Your turn beatsowalt.
Thanks, mac -- that's three so if we aren't right, we get a clue!
beatoswald must have gone asleep on us.
sorry for the delay i was out seeing the new harry potter film and forgot to check the post.
not 'the onion field'
not 'the killers'
not 'streets os fire'
the films is about three young friends, one jewish, one african and the other an arab, following them through 24 hours including taking a trip from the run down project they live on into the well known city centre.
I'm not good with older movies, but this looks like a 70s film or earlier? The cars look old, that one guy has on white shoes (ok, maybe they're tennis shoes) and his shirt open, and is that other guy wearing Pumas?
its actually quite a recent film (from the 90's). the black and white photograghy is a stylistic choice. the film (i'm giving any too much) isn't set in america thus kind of accounting for the odd fashions in clothes and cars. the characters, being poor, don't have much money to spend on clothes.
This is one just on the outside of my memory -- I can't seem to open up that filing cabinet and discover the particular folder!
You're really trying to stump us!
