I had passed by this location several times and finally had the camera with me yesterday. Do not know what happened to the house, note the sign.

@Mad as Hell in NC,
I saw this, and thought of the awkward conversation between a potential client and the owner. Awesome.

Funny, I thought of it as a PSA George Bush and Co. should view, ad nauseum.

@aaronssongs,
Just can't let go of your agenda, can you Aaron?
Once again you have gone off on a tangent that has NOTHING to do with the original post.

Oh, lighten up...isn't that what you always say....I was being sardonic, if not sarcastic...but apparently humor is subjective.

@Mad as Hell in NC,
Your attempt at humor was only made so that you could inject some Bush-bashing.

Oh go figure...and I suppose you think he doesn't deserve "bashing"???
He, in and of himself, is both the funniest and the saddest thing around.
Quite an accomplishment, wouldn't you say?
Let me ask you....if he is so great, as some on this forum think that he is, why is the Republican field distancing themselves from him and his policies? Why has he lost cabinet member after cabinet member? Why is he the laughing stock of most of the Western World, to say nothing of the East, and Middle East? Or, perhaps, that is unimportant, and mere "spin".

@Mad as Hell in NC,
My only point was to wonder why you must inject your agenda into every thread, whether it is to the point or not.
A funny photo of a sign for a remodeler near a damaged home has NOTHING to do with Bush.
By the way, I am not so happy with Bush and the Republicans as you think, though you would never admit to understanding that a person can support the government even when in disagreement. The election process gives us the means to change policy by electing candidates we can support, and ones that will get things done in government.

My bad. I was not even looking at the photo of a sign, I went to the YouTube link : YouTube - The Philosophy of Liberty
and watched the video , and commented on "that"....when you're old and can see like you used to,well, what can I tell you. LOL.

And I'm not understanding your statement...that " a person can support the government even when in disagreement"...sounds like 1776 to me.
And give me a break...electing candidates?>??? George Bush stole the election by the Florida re-count, in his brother's home state, no less....what would be the chances of that???? And than the Supreme Court would rule in his favor? Can I get some odds?
This is not a real democracy, in case you didn't know...and voting amounts to a hill of beans...but we just play along, because what else are we to do....Come on. This is the Twilight Zone, for real.

Ah, but it's the truth that sets the captives free. So easy to deny reality, with a drink in one hand and Vicodin in the other...a likely scenario, if you want to purport that nonsense about "bugs and problems"....this, beyond a shadow of a doubt, was unprecedented, unthinkable, and highly unlikely....and precisely what we got was tyranny...but you sitting up in your cushy house, with 2 cars in the garage, contemplating on whether to have lobster or medallions of veal, as you look over your portfolio, might be far removed from the effects of said tyranny, as the benefactors seem to be "white, corporate, cheerleaders" for this monstrosity. Why, indeed, would you be protesting against the status quo....let them eat cake, right? (as she said, on her way to the guillotine)...some Republicans, (and some Dems) ought to be rubbing their necks, about right now, getting ready for Nov 2008.

And . seemingly, it's not me indulging my favorite pasttime, getting off topic, it would be you and yours, indulging your favorite pasttime, subterfuging, ducking and dodging, and throwing up smoke screens. Sorry if the truth "hurts"

@Mad as Hell in NC,
It is my fault the thread got so far off topic. I should have ignored his bashing.
I do think the photo was funny.

Excuse me....this is supposed to be a "political & religion discussion and debate forum"....that being said, if you desire humor...I'm sure there are various forum dedicated to humor...just because there is a humor section doesn't mean that you have to take it so seriously....like, "hands off the humor section...and only post humor here". Geez, such crybabies...and folks have the nerve to accuse me of being difficult.
I post way too much stuff that has nothing at all to do with Bush...but since he is responsible for much of the chaos, disorder, and anger in the country, he keeps cropping up , more than I care to admit...and instead of people being "level-headed" and "reasonable", he actually has defenders here....when very few of his actions are defensible. I didn't mean for this to be a diatribe about Bush, or Aaron attempting to take over the "humor forum"...I merely responded that the youtube video seemed more like a public service announcement that might do Dubya some good to watch...Big whoop...a molehill into a mountain.
