Mexico would benefit lucratively and spiritually if it did the same....

Religions aside. We are to busy competing for the oil in the Middle East to make friends with Russia right now.
If we could come to some kind of agreement with the other consumer nations just to not fight or not engage in such ruthless compete over the oil, we would all benefit and the petro barons in the middle east would lose much of their influence in the world.

The Roman Catholic Church rebuilt Europe after the fall of Rome. Without the Church's heroic efforts, there would be no Western Civilization. Mexico, therefore, would be either completely native, still, or under some other civilization's dominion.

Russia don't want friendship with the United States anyway..Russia as power crazed as the United States..for more than oil
