It is shamefull that proven criminals are able to evade the law through loopholes such as these, but they were created to keep the police force in check because without them it is back to the sherif lay the law down by force, which holds no water in modern times. If the police were completly trustworthy and honest such a law would have need to exist, and its a fact that such a scenario isn't the case here, don't you see scandals involving police mal-conduct occur even with these laws?

America is a great country if solely for the reason that you can come here a

We have our problems, but it is in the POWER of the everyday people to
participate and correct them. If we don't exercise that power enough then the
problems with this country lie with the populace and not the system of
government we have, which is the best on earth at the moment. PERIOD!
