@Drnaline,
Because they want us dead or did you forget.

No, they want us out of the Holy Land, Saudi Arabia, so they can overrun the
government there and have a fundamentalist Islamic State that extends
from Spain (once under the control of Muslims) to Pakistan. The traditional
Muslim kingdom, free from the corruptive influence of the infidels (us and
europe)

You probably think that as well. It's ok.

I'm an atheist, I don't believe in the supernatural. I believe Jesus was a
particularly wise person who had the guts to speak the truth and was
persecuted for it, then he was mythologized over time and his legend had
pagan beliefs and customs attached to it. He's an ideal, and a very good
one, and I'm a fan in a lot of ways.

Yup, i even went up to Salt Lake to check it out. Funny watching the
whole town shut down and go to church, and what a church it is. Decent people.

I know Mormons and former Mormons. Decent people, sure. Some strange stuff, too.

Do they? Well this one does, does that surprise you?

Yes, from some of your posts. I was speaking of extremist christians, who
are not tolerant at all.

Is he not a viable prospect? Have you ever voted for someone not in your faith?
Why would you think i would have to bend my beliefs if i chose to vote for him?

There's not too many Atheist candidates, so I'm forced to vote for people of
faiths I don't share almost every time.

I was speaking of extremist christians, again. Look, the Religious Right
leaders are having to sell voting for a mormon to their followers, who
think it's a strange proposition.

IMO religion is politics. I also think your reading into it a little much.

NO, NO, NO! Religion ISN'T politics. It's an insult to religion to think of it
as such. Religion is finding personal meaning in existance. Politics is the
complex of relations between people trying to co-exist in a society.

Politics requires compromise in exchange for power and benefit.

Religion, better defined for me as principles rather than faith, is best as an
internal thing and shouldn't be compromised for power and benefit.

Does that make sense to you?

And what of the Jews. They want them out too. Or do they want them dead?
So how did this Muslim Kingdom come to be? Did they maybe kill for it? Thats pretty much they way there going about it now right? Or a devinity came down and gave it to them?

So do you think the "Big Bang" was a caused event?

Alot of people on this board would call me an extremist christian, yet i can be tolerant?

Ohhh, i get it. Your forced to vote for candidates of faith. Who's forcing you?
So it's ok for you to force yourself but not for me to chose some one outside my faith, HMMMmmm? Sounds a little strange to me. You probably know the word i'm thinking of.
In any case no body has sold me anything. I came up with the decision all by myself, just like you. Oh wait, they forced me, LOL.

And that's coming from an atheist folks, wow.

Some thing you have done right and came up with, Nonexistance. Again wow.

Politics can be applied to religion. You can have one or the other and even at times both. That is coming from a person of faith. An athiest mind not understand the concept.

Not always as with anything. I argue politics all the time, i don't always compromise, receive power or benefit.

Does that make sense to you?

Makes sense, but that does not make it so.
