@tumbleweed cv,
These guys really don't learn do they! He is against gay marriage, not to mention that he is a preist and shouldn't be using or buying drugs(not that its ok to use/buy them if you aren't a preist) thats a pretty bad example for his church.

@tumbleweed cv,
The only other reason to buy drugs if not to use them, if to sell em, I wonder what dear old Rev. Haggard has been getting himself into. lol. I bet he enjoyed his deapstroke massage. I feel feel bad for his wife, poor woman, her husband has just been revealed as not just a liar and hypocrit, but also as an adulterer and junky, I wonder if she will ask for a divorce. I guess thats a scandal fopr another day.

@Drnaline,
It isn't so much that he is a christian as it is the position he holds within the church.

@tumbleweed cv,
President Clinton Impeached

President Clinton Impeached
Behind a backdrop unique in historical terms, on Saturday 19 December 1998, President William Jefferson Clinton was impeached by the United States House of Representatives, becoming only the second President in U.S. History, and the only man popularly elected as President to have been so charged.
The House voted 228 to 206 to approve proposed Article I of Impeachment (Perjury before a Federal Grand Jury), and voted 221 to 212 to approve proposed Article III of Impeachment (Obstruction of Justice).

Although the impeachment process succeeded at the level of the House of Representatives, without the Senate's confirming action in this matter, no further action was taken.

@tumbleweed cv,
I guess its good that everyone will be judged on their own merits.

God won't bother to ask what failures we saw in others.

@GoodBoy,
The real crime was that Haggard was a counselor.

Given his lack of good judgement there is no way how many situations he used the same logic.

This is the first time he has been caught.

He can get forgivness, but he has to practice his own teachings.

@tumbleweed cv,
I guess what has always amazed me is people who know next to nothing about Jesus and his teachings always know exactly how Christians are supposed to live.

@GoodBoy,
Merle Haggard and George Jones must be having a laugh:D

I know I did when the news reporters referred to the adoring couple as Haggard and Jones.
