Are London police fools?

Feel better now?
The London Police say they stopped a terrorist threat before it got started.
This time they didn?t wait until after things started to blow up - they arrested people before anything happened.
When the bombs went off in London?s subways not long ago the first thing the London Police did was gun down a tourist from Brazil.
They acted on information that was apparently extracted from an individual who had been captured either in Afghanistan or Pakistan.
Do you think that this information could have been extracted through torture?
Everyone is happy the bad guys have been foiled and that they will not be able to blow up explosives disguised as beverages with detonators disguised as electronic devices. We haven?t had any news about what liquids they were going to use or how they got them.
Interpol, the FBI and the CIA nor any other agency, claims to have broken up this terrorist band that ?U.S. government officials said privately could have been the biggest terrorist attack since September 11, 2001?.
It?s a good story but is it true? Because of what I have read about him I cannot trust the London Police Chief Sir Ian Blair.
He reminds me of the New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik who pleaded guilty to accepting tens of thousands of dollars in gifts while he was a top city official.
Tony Blair took the news in stride and did not interrupt his Caribbean vacation.
When will Sir Ian step aside?

@cranston36 cv,
I am not normally suspicious of a person's state of mind , but now I wonder if your head is on straight .
You have continually come up with wacky posts that usually ramble about and point nowhere , this time I wonder how you make a connection between a possibly crooked US politician and the London Police Chief , and go off on a tangent about torture .
I wouldn't care if the information was obtained through torture . That may be the only way to get the info .

I'm sorry to say, but if you don't start bringing some facts to backup your off the wall ravings, and start actually debating your points, you will be gone pal. You are doing no good to this community but taking up space and frustrating everyone

And it won't be too soon , in my opinion !
I think everyone has a right to join in , but they should bring rational thoughts and comments .
