And now for a message on global warming from your Georgia Legislature: Don't sweat it.

former Vice President Al Gore are alarmists. They use flawed statistical models to predict a catastrophic future of thawed glaciers, super-charged hurricanes, swamped coastlines and scorched crops.

That was the conclusion of three of the four panelists at a state House hearing on Tuesday titled "Climate Change: Fact or Fiction?"

While other states are looking for ways to reduce the greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming, Georgia officials are not convinced there's a problem they can do anything about.

"In the media, we hear the gloom and doom side," said Rep. Jeff Lewis (R-White), chairman of the House Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications Committee that held the hearing. "There is alternative information out there."

No need to worry about it. While global warming is a reality as a state of our planet, the same holds true for a few of the planets in our neighborhood. But the hysteria of late is that it is human induced, if this is so it easily becomes a trillion dallar industry. One needs only to look at all the money directed at this cause now without it even being scrutinized? The alarmists want evey body to believe it is human induced so they can lead the way to our salvation. Signing the Kyoto protocal would stiffle economy's if not killing some, if kept to its original statements would kill millions of people. Most in third world countrys such as yours. Africa would be choked untill it was dead because it would boil down to survival of the fittist. While it could be considered a nobel cause by some, the promoters of this human induced sham leave alot to speculation. And in there opinion it is settled science to which there is no debate. Real scientific of them huh, LOL.
