Fox News ought to buy a copy of Monday's Democrat debate on CNN to play over and over during the general election campaign. For now, the Democratic candidates need to appeal only to their nut-base. So on Monday night, the candidates casually spouted liberal conspiracy theories that would frighten normal Americans, but are guaranteed to warm the hearts of losers blogging from their mother's basements.
B. Hussein Obama got the party started by claiming he couldn't get a cab in New York because he's black. This line was a big hit with white liberals in the audience who have never been to New York.
Even writers for The New York Times don't drag this canard out anymore. Last year, a black writer in the Times pointed out how things had changed in New York in the 10 years since he had been out of the country. Not only did he have no trouble getting a cab, but he cited statistics from taxi sting operations that showed a 96 percent compliance rate among cabbies in picking up blacks. (Remarkable, considering that New York cabbies' compliance rate on daily bathing is less than half that.)

I love the last part.
Well, seeing that you're in ( and undoubtably "from") New Mexico, it's clear your knowledge of NYC and its' particulars, is in serious question. My question would have been, "Have you ever been there? Have ever been "anywhere", outside the confines of your limited sphere?"...but that's irrelevant.
It's a known fact that politicians are known to tell "whoppers"...George Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, and Rice, tell them on a "daily" basis (heck, when have they ever told the truth, would be the question to ask).
I sooner believe Barack Obama, citing that, even he, has had trouble hailing a cab in NYC (as I have, as well), than I would any fact issuing from the mouth of any anchor or pundit at Fox News ...or as Keith Olbermann calls it, "Fox Noise".
Since you aren't black, and have never been black hailing a cab in NYC, no matter what you heard, or from what source you got your "take", you can't say that it doesn't happen, to this very day. Point.
People say a whole bunch of "stuff"....still, doesn't make it true....but I can see you believing it, if it supported your position...which is to make Barack Obama, appear to look "foolish"....why don't you talk about issues, of real importance, instead of , as you put it, "canards"?
