Since there was a cross-over...I'll use Clary's animals for this one, and Ceili's animals will be up for the next one.

fox
wolf
mink
lynx

The quick, clever brown fox
locked that old wolf in a box.
A mink came along and lifted the lid,
so the lynx ate them both, he really did!

donkey
sheep
cow
goat

I once met a donkey hung like a man,
And a sheep in wolf's clothing called Daredevil Dan.
A cow that could talk till the people came home
And goats that you separate all the sheep from.

They say duck is best served, hot on the plate.
And goose, as fattened liver, a spicy pate..................he he, for culinary uninitiated
Don't think I'd want to eat a sparrow hawk
'Cause just like red robins, they might squawk

I don't like adder or any snake
Can't you see an asp sticking out of a cake
Imagine a rattler moving around in a ball
So as not to disturb the cobra over the wall

I have never seen a whimbrel awake
And I never hope to see a corncrake
I would guess that a reed warbler loves trees
A land rail loves the surface on the ground, please

clownfish
koala
aardvark
zebra

The clownfish rode in on a unicycle with impossibly large boots
The koala followed, riding on a palomino pony with a pair of coots;
Next the aardvark, tubulodontically challenged, with his trainer a human biped
And finally the zebra trotted, gallant, feisty and striped.

I do not want a pot belly pig
A piglet would be cute to dance a jig
And a sow would need to be her litter
But a hog would look funny with glitter

In between the fires the mosquito stings,
And in the reeds, the grass spider spins.
