Fidel Castro has Terminal Cancer

By most accounts Fidel brother,Ra?l Castro, who is seen as Fidels succesor, will run the country the same as his brother.

I don't foesee any changes.

So you don't think the US will be able to influence his brother?

I suppose anything is possible, but from what I have read about Fidels brother, he takes the same hardline communist stand as Fidel.

Raul Castro was the influence that lead Fidel to communism in the first place . He was and is the mastermind behind Cuba . He will rule Cuba the same way , or even more dictatorially .

The scenario that some see after Fidel dies is that Chavez will make a strong bid to replace Fidel Castro as the premier strongman in the world south of the US .

I suspect a revolution as soon as fidel kicks it. If Raul had a spine he would of been in charge in the first place. He seems like a good instigator.
