Hi. What's wrong with the following sentence.

The door is always leave open. It should shut.

My correction:
The door is always left open. It should be shut.
The door is always open. It should be shut.

Which one is correct and why? or Which one is better and why? or If you think of a better one or neither of them is correct, please let me know and give me an explanation.
What is the difference between "be left open" and "be open"?

What is the difference between "be left open" and "be open"?

The door is always being left open. It should shut.

If the meaning is intended to show that people are carelessly leaving the door open, then "being left open" is better than "left open". The latter is often used when something is done purposefully, routinely, because the present simple often describes the habitual, the routine, the usual, the general condition.

There is nothing wrong with the second part, "It should shut", if there is a door closer on the door and the speaker is remarking on that particular aspect.

If the speaker wants to remark on what people should door wrt the door, then

It should be kept shut/closed. // People should shut/close that door.
