What would this style of dress be called?

So, i am in love with this dress I found on a friends photos. BUt have no idea what the style of dress itself is actually called... i know it would prob be considered a prarie dress but what is the name of a collar like that? thanks all in advance

Hmmm... I'm not sure that sort of collar would have a name. It's sort of like an attached shawl (but not a shawl collar).

If it has a name, I can't think of it anyway.

Can you ask your friend?

ah she doesn't know either just found in a thrift store no tag attached thanks for the tip with shawl though, perhaps that shall help my search ^_^

That type collar would be called a capelet (or a capelet collar).

It is not a prairie dress and the style is much more formal and contemporary.
