What do you think about their being a memorial in place of the twin towers? They have accepted 8 designs to decide from. One of the eight will be built and the decision will be by the end of the year. Most of the families like the ideas. But some don't like because it will cover up where they use to be.
I like most of the ideas and I think it is a great idea to build something over it. They can still have the base perservied as a bottom level of the total monument. Some of the ideas are very emotional and amazing.

They sure are. Why don't you write a poll to see what the favorites of A2K are?
That is a good idea. Thanks.
WE HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHOICE . . .
We realize that only one of these memorials can be built. However, at this moment we consider three of them as "acceptable." We looked at them on the NY Times site. Our favorites are: Passage of Light, Reflecting Absence, and Lower Waters. Possibly there was a fourth one; presently, the name has escaped.
It will be interesting to see the final choice, since according to various news articles, some of the folks who lost loved ones, are displeased with all of them.[/color]
