@Logicus,
That's nice - But to suggest he is able to go beyond the theoretical blackboard and define an impossible effect is unrealistic.

If antimatter does exist, and I believe it does, but not in this dimension - It will be 'something', not 'nothing'.

@Lustig Andrei,
Fires have been started by natural causes since vegetation covered this planet. Lightnings start fires, and so does volcanoes. Man learned to make fire by rubbing two sticks together.

@cicerone imposter,
Fire is merely a form of combustion that produces heat - The Sun is a good example.
Noone knows how ancient man discovered how to create fire - All we know is what materials were at its disposal...... The rest is guesswork.

That is speculative at best, Tak. We have no evidence at all on just how man first came to use fire for his own purposes. We can only make guesses.

@Lustig Andrei,
Yea, that was myth I learned many decades ago, and didn't let it "go."

This is some funny **** here. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I am not making fun of you because I think I was taught the same thing.

Have you ever seen where a fire was created by rubbing two sicks together or did it require more than two sticks?

Maybe someone knows of a more simplistic way to start a fire and if so will you please share?

@mark noble,
Yes, I know matter and anti-matter are both things. It was only an example to show that things can only be explained by their opposites, at least concepts.

@reasoning logic,
I, take a lighter, flintblock and striker and pottassium permanganate+antifreeze - When I hit the wilds.
I can also employ the 'bowstring' method (hardwood) if needs be.
The chems are best in wet, humid climes.
And antifreeze can be acquired from pine needles.

That does make sense when you put it that way. I'll talk to my father about this.

I know I make out my father to be really smart, but I'm just trying to get second opinion. Do not feel like I'm challenging your intellect.
