@One Eyed Mind,
Quote:Also, again. Any religious definition - any - is already the definition of non-definition. Religion isn't the Universe; religion is man-made. It separates our people because it doesn't want to accept an ever-changing, ever-evolving world
Lets see.
I have a Tanach right here, and Psalm 49 in Hebrew says the following
Quote: 2 Hear this all you peoples, give ear all you dwellers of decaying earth...
Decaying earth. (Several other translations are incorrect when writing this part in other languages, the Hebrew intent is what rules)
Yes, the sons of Korah knew more science than you do, because there is not such a thing as "evolution" on earth, but solely decay.
When you talk about "evolution of earth" then you are showing a weird ignorance, and you just said it because you are just repeating what others say before.
The "ever changing" on planet earth means "ever decaying".
The point is that the origin of the idea of humans and other living species as having a soul is from religious sources.
Science might have borrowed the idea and modified the concept, still, the idea of having a soul was born from religion.
Understood?
