The New York Times Science Times Section recently asked twenty five knowledgeable people to write six hundred words on a series of questions.
I thought the writing was particularly good and a good stepping off point for discussion.

apparently it,s chemical memories but i guess i should know if i have one. the socratic method does answer alot of questions if you abuse it.
