No peace to keep? Care to expound?
Fourteen dead Italian Caribinieri is the example which leaps most readily to mind. They're using remotely detonated explosives sufficient to kill people in humvees, and wound those in armored fighting vehicles. They're using RPG's and surface to air missles. Sound like peace to you?
The terms 'peace keeping' or 'peace keepers', 'keep the peace' get used in different ways. I agree there is no peace there currently, but believe it is possible.
Yes, it is possible, despite the murderous incompetence of Rummy, Wolfy and their crew. I have a good deal of confidence in our military, because they derive from good material, and have a tradition of getting the job done, despite the idiots who make policy.
