And then use a sentence to describe what you think about it.
Thanks.

Hmm. . . I think of all of them that they're interesting looking. . . I can't say any of them are mouthwatering, unfortunately. . .

Haha... in fact, I want you to spread it on thick like AD! It is hard to make you really feeling mouthwatering all most on any food.

Oristar, It would help if we knew what we were looking at. I can't identify the foods in the photos. Also, in the second photo, are those some kind of bugs on top of the rollie things?

whoever made items 1,2 and 3. They had their hands all over the stuff, I hope their hands were extra clean. most sushi chefs I watch cause they wipe their hands with that disgusting bar rag that they clean their chop boards after making each roll. Too much recycled bacteria

The last photo looks like innards 'n' greens. Delectable, I'm sure...

I think the red stuff in the first picture may be some kind of roe. And the stuff in the last picture ain't wonton soup. I think it's chicken with some kind of cabbage.

I'd be willing to give each dish a try. They look like they were prepared with great care.

Oristar, why don't you send a pm to cavfancier and invite him to this thread. He's a chef. Maybe he'll be able to identify the food.

Fealola and Roberta,
#4 is not Won Ton Soup or chicken with cabbage, that is called Jiaozi in China, made out of meat and vegetable.

And I'm afraid the chef cannot read English. So even if he comes here, he only can see nothing. Smile

Well I've been served that soup here in the US but I guess they called it Won-Ton soup just to keep it simple. It's delish!

Wonton is different to Jiaozi, which is in fact meat-vegetable pudding.

Yes, I had a feeling this was called something different than won-ton soup. But they call it that just to simplify things for non-Chinese customers in Chinese American Restaurants. I wish they'd just call it what it is!

It's good though. Not really "pudding" but more like alot of chopped, seasoned meat stuffed in dough, (overstuffed won-tons sort of) bok choy and other vegetables in a clear broth. More solid food than broth.

What an interesting question, Oristar. Are these all hors d'oeuvres? I think #1 and #2 look the best. Is that fish in the first? It appears to be stuffed with something. I especially like the pickled onions & peppers. Though I like the second, it makes me a bit nervous, standing in that pool of green.

If you could say the ingredients, it would surely be easier to describe (in a mouthwatering way).
