The leech therapy is back. These guys are really something else. They are used in reconstructive/plastic surgeries to stimulate blood flow (I think) and in the following study, they are used to combat arthritis pain.

Maggots have been in use again as well as wound cleaning agents.

That's pretty cool, actually. Medicine is getting back to its natural roots, I guess.
