I think the answer is probably "b."

Oh OK so does it have something to do with sexual actions and you just added an "i" to the verb expressing that stuff?

I have no idea what hobitbob and user are talking about....however....

A new Battlestar Galactica? Hmm...that is wrong. And...just as a thought...."Starbuck"? What does that remind you of? I for one shall refuse to watch it!

As for Lorne Greene and his "gay" outfits, I will quote Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons and say "Best...death....ever!"

Boinking, american slang for exchanging bodliy fluids.
Anyway, I firmly expect the new Galactica to be far inferior to the old, but I will watch anyway. Very Happy

OK thanks for revealing the meaning of boinking.
Looks like my dictionary doesn't include enough informal American expression as it told me the meaning of "bonk" but didn't so with "boink".
Well but anyhow I gotta have a look at this stuff too, even though I'm sure I won't watch more than one or two episodes of it...

we do need a glossary really. Somebody call the Craven one.
Now a new Battlestar with really sexy females like "7 of9" thats what Im talkin about.
and get rid of that spaceship that they glued together from old computer packing material , and old electrical parts.
I always liked the ship on LEXX, even though the show was mostly a bore

Wow canvfancier that kind of action really seems to be one of your favourites Wink well...not saying it in a blaming way...

Yap farmerman, sexy versions of sci-fi shows is what we're all talking about. But I think the original Battlestar Galactica doesn't deserve it to be set to the same level as LEXX or that 7of9-style. I mean don't get me wrong hot chicks in tight suits is exactly the thing that makes watch almost any show (aww just remember those Baywatch babes), but as I already mentioned Galactica just doesn't deserve it to be taken to that (IMO kinda low) level of entertainment.

User:

Schtupping is a Yiddish word well-known by many Americans of all faiths to mean having sex with, generally from the male view. From what I knew of the German I learned in college, Yiddish is a variant of German. However, some words might have a slightly different meaning in
German and Yiddish.

Actually, I understand that technically speaking, "schtup" means "to push".

Actually I don't know anything about Yiddish...which is as I remember vaguely the language of the Jewish community?? Well actually I don't really know...was just a guess.

But anyhow thanks a lot again.
Wow looks like there are a lot of smart people around here Smile (excluding me of course Wink )

noch einmal user.
I once had an Indian employee, new citizen, very good mining engineer. We somehow used the word 'dildo' in our conversation in which he was a part. So my engineer friend incorporaTED IT INTo his everyday speech at home . LAter in the same year we were over at his house for a meal and , during supper , his little girl started calling everybody a dildo. So, my point is, the word should be cautiously and selectively used until you are comfortable with the legal implications of your public speech.

yeah sure you're right no one should use words in his everyday's conversations he isn't totally aware of their meaning.
but what are you trying to tell me?
just to calm you down in advance: i wasn't about to call everyone around here a "boinker", if that concern made you write your last post in this thread Wink

hobitbob:
thanks for liking my outfit...now if only the girls liked that kind of look Rolling Eyes
once again i didn't understand one of words you used in your last message here: "Frak!".
hope you're still willing to teach me Wink

"Frak" was one of the made up swear words on the original BG series.

Thanks a lot for telling me all those cool ways of showing your dissatisfaction in certain situations.
But I think I'm gonna stick to my guns and use "damn" or "f**** that s***"...or got some other words for it? I'm eager to get to know about 'em.

farmerman, I like your attitude. Telling stories about anything and mostly nothing while looking pretty smart and deep is one of my favourite hobbies, too. I'm sure you're going to recognize that while reading some more of my messages in the future, if you haven't done so yet.

Nah, the wife made me watch 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' so I'm just riffing on that. I do enjoy the occasional souvlaki though.
