4:0 .... the highest defeat since 1974 for Argentina, when they lost with the very same result against ... the other finalist, the Netherlands.

Yeah, despite the referees favoring Argentina, Germany persevered
Great, great victory for Germany especially since Argentina was a tough opponent! I am happy (despite jet lag)!!

fbaezer needs Klose to score at least two goals AND at least one more than Villa and Higuaín AND Tévez and Podolski not to score.
Only thing left is hope Villa doesn't score twice!

I guess I should have changed my players, but I just got back from Europe
and had no time to check again...
When can I change the players if at all?
Every player can change his/her strikers for phase 3 (semifinals, 3rd place game and final).
Now it's more important, since many of the chosen strikers play for eliminated teams.
Oh good then. Here is my new list
1. Miroslav Klose (Germany)
2. David Villa (Spain)
3.Thomas Mueller (Germany
4. Fernando Torres (Spain)
5. Schweinsteiger (Germany)
I guess I feel confident that this will be the final team!
You're right, spendius. I did see Torres leave the field early today. We'll
see if he doesn't play on Wednesday, I will switch beforehand to Forlan.

@spendius,
My understanding, Spendi, is that we are entering Stage 3 which covers the semi-finals, the match for 3rd place as well as the last game for the championship. You are cordially welcome to play.
My picks:
1) Villa (Spain)
2) Klose (Germany)
3) Mueller (Germany)
4) Forlan (Uruguay)
5) Snijder (Netherlands)
