His temper is most likely as the same as his father, not his mother.

But how to explain this:

Put "as the same as"(with double quotation marks) into google search box, we will get as many as 484,000,000 hits.

So, I am afraid that the usage "as the same as" is grammatically correct. Or, it has been used (mistakenly?) widely and wildly everywhere! Very Happy

"as the same as" is definitly incorrect in the sentance you quoted.

It is correct in the sentence below
No, I don't see the role of step-parent as the same as an adoptive parent.

no, it's wrong.

And in the question above, substitute "temperament" for "temper".

And you've started a sentence with A, which some English teachers told me to avoid.
I guess the taboo originates from Bible.

But if you are neither a Christian nor a Catholic, you don't need to avoid the usage.

Am I on the right track?
